Cationic Polymer is a polyacrylamide substance. It is a white powder with a positive charge. The general properties of polyacrylamide substances are that they act as a flocculant after the coagulation process. The properties of Floculant, when it is blown and comes into contact with suspended sediments, it will attract those sediments to the surface according to the characteristics of the charge. When the sediments come together with Floculant in large quantities, it will have weight. It can be separated from the water and sink to the bottom of the sedimentation tank. Cationic Polymer is used in wastewater systems to help capture sediment and precipitate it effectively.
Inhalation Move the victim to fresh air and keep them in a position comfortable for breathing. If symptoms worsen, Get medical attention.
Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Flush with warm water for 15 minutes. If the contaminated area is extensive, pour water over clothing and body. If skin irritation occurs, Get medical attention.
Eye contact Flush eyes with plenty of water, holding the eyelids wide open for at least 15 minutes, Get medical attention.
IngestionRinse mouth with clean water and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical attention.
Store chemicals in a cool and dry place (0 – 30 0C ) , away from sources of ignition, heat and avoid damp areas. The chemical storage area should be cleaned thoroughly to reduce dust.
